Carbonate-dominated systems are cleaned by circulating Sulfamic Acid; rust and mill-scale systems switch to Citric Acid with a reducing agent; organic scale and biofilm on the product side are first emulsified with alkaline food-equipment cleaner, then acid-washed if needed. Every route carries BTA or MBT inhibitor so carbon steel corrosion stays within Table 2 of GB/T 25146-2010, with stainless steel and copper alloys far less affected.
